Newstaff Milton Keynes is working with an injection moulding company based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.
We are looking for a Production Operative to Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm with 2 x 5-minute breaks and half an hour for lunch which is unpaid
£12.00 per hour (increased when taken on perm for the right person)
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Production Operator to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the production process, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency are always maintained.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to safety are key. Being on your feet for the whole shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor production processes to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Assemble, pack, or inspect products as per company standards.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report any hazards or issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment when necessary.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure all work is completed on time.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
- A flexible attitude to working hours and tasks.
- A strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Have worked within a production role before
