Production Operative

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England

£11.67 - 12.25 per hour

Newstaff Employment Services Milton Keynes is working in partnership with a global organization of manufacturing plastic caps and closures for the packaging industry

The business employs over 200 people in a multiple-shift operation supplying major blue-chip customers from 3 modern well-equipped factories using high-speed automated production techniques

We are looking for a strong, hard-working, can-do attitude person for a Production Operative 

Duties:

  • Erecting cardboard cartons and attaching labels
  • Carrying out quality inspections on products
  • Stacking pallets with made-up boxes
  • Make new boxes up
  • Moving cartons and bulk bins to and from the machines
  • Completing production sheet paperwork
  • Maintenance of good housekeeping practices on production lines and within the factory

Must:

  • Be physically fit
  • Able to read/write English and be numerically sound
  • Come from a production or manufacturing background
  • Able to stand on your feet for a 12-hour shift
  • Been in a similar role before

Shifts and Salary:

  • Monday to Thursday 8 am to 8 pm
  • £11.67 plus 5% shift premium £12.25
