Employment Law Solicitor in Northampton
Newstaff Employment is recruiting for an experienced Employment Law Solicitor in Northampton to join a progressive and forward-thinking law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE to step into a senior role with genuine responsibility, variety, and long-term progression potential.
📍 Location: Northampton
💷 Salary: £50,000 – £80,000 per annum (negotiable, depending on experience)
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday
📌 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your caseload of employment law matters from instruction to completion
- Represented clients in employment tribunals and provided expert legal advice
- Mentor and supported junior team members within the department
- Assist with data protection and compliance matters
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and third parties in a professional and efficient manner
- Contribute to the development and success of the wider legal team
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience in employment law
- Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal procedure
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior team members is desirable
- Organised, commercially aware, and proactive
